Athlete Growth (AG) is a coaching company developed in 2008 by Dorron Blumberg. Dorron has over 12 years’ experience in the exercise and sports industry. Athlete Growth has been developed because the need for athlete’s support in a changing environment and world has become prevalent. The process of growing and reaching one’s potential never ends. Athlete Growth strives to provide the bests service possible.
About Dorron Blumberg
Dorron Blumberg is originally from South Africa, Johannesburg. He has grown up as an athlete his entire life living in South Africa, Texas and South Florida. Most of his life has been spent in Coral Springs, Florida.
As a young man he swam professionally and ranked nationally. After competing as a swimmer, he went on to play football in high school, making the All-County team, the Broward All-Star team, and receiving a scholarship for strong character on and off the field. After high-school he went on to play football for Florida Atlantic University (FAU) on the first inaugural team.
His sporting career and life lead him to pursue my bachelor’s degree from FAU in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. Along with his degree, he received certifications in the fitness industry with the Fitness Institute International as a Certified Personal Training Specialist (CPTS), the National Strength and Conditioning Association as Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). In addition, he is also certified as a Life Success Consultant and Performance Edge Coach. Along with these certifications he has gained over 12 years’ experience in the industry and studied many different books, DVD’s and CD’s to further enhance his education.
Dorron is a published author of the Performance Playbook, a book that focuses on feeding your potential from the neck up in sports, fitness and life. As of today, he continues to write and design programs on his free time, workout, live a healthy lifestyle, spend time with quality friends and family and is currently in school pursuing his master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology.
